Plastic Safety Barriers

The innovative material use and product design of this unique range of safety barrier products provide performance benefits and cost savings, in comparison to barriers made from more traditional materials which are common to all the individual products in the barrier product range.

These benefits and savings are due to both the material of manufacture and product assembly and installation.

All the barriers in the product range are based on two designs. A three rail post and rail system, primarily for pedestrian protection and segregation and a low level single circular rail modular post and rail system, primarily for traffic segregation, traffic way delineation and equipment/structure protection. The performance of these two barrier designs under impact conditions is shown in the before and after picture sequences below.

Manufactured to comply with BS6399.

Dimensions

All post sections are 110x110mm, upper rail sections are 75x50mm and lower rail section is 166mm OD. Dimensions shown are for standard post assemblies and a standard 3500mm barrier section. Rails are supplied in sets of three (one lower and two upper) and the rail set length is determined by the length of the lower rail. The standard rail set is 1250mm but short (600-1249mm) and long (1251-1750mm) rail sets are available to provide a barrier to a required length. The shortest length available is 1350mm.
